SimpleSysInfo

In a centralized location, the SimpleSysInfo interface, you have all the information you need about your system. That is what this free application developed by Emiel Wieldraaijer does – it gathers system info and presents it to you. This includes operating system info, memory info, processor info, serials, ISP info, and more. All this info can be saved as a text, HTML, XML or image file, printed out, and emailed.

All you have to do to get started with SimpleSysInfo is download and run a small executable (about 1MB in size to be more precise). You do not have to go through any setup or installation process. You just need to run an executable. Of course, this means that you can put the SimpleSysInfo executable on a portable storage device, like a USB stick, and take it with you.

All the information that SimpleSysInfo gathers is grouped into categories and these categories are presented as tabs on its interface – General, Operating System, Memory, Processor, Office, Video, Provider, Sound, and so on. At the top there’s a traditional File menu. At the bottom there are buttons for saving the info gathered by SimpleSysInfo or for emailing said info.

Using SimpleSysInfo is, as the application’s name so adequately points out, an incredibly simple matter: you just have to launch the application and then browse through all the info it gathers. You can view info about your operating system, RAM memory, processor, internet service provider (ISP), graphics card, serials, and more. If you want to, you can save this info as a TXT, JPEG, HTML, or XML file. Alternatively, you can print out the info or you can email it.
